Project Engineer
Havant, Hampshire (with travel to Westbury & Gloucester)
£40–£45 per hour (Umbrella)
12-Month FTC | 37.5 hours per week
The Opportunity
We’re supporting a leading defence & aerospace organisation in securing a Facilities / Project Engineer to support a range of internal projects across secure, high-spec environments.
This is a hands-on, varied role, working across electrical, mechanical, and civil projects, with strong stakeholder engagement across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support delivery of facilities & infrastructure projects
- Define scopes of work for contractors & procurement
- Manage project plans, timelines, and documentation
- Coordinate across Facilities, H&S, Security, IT & Ops teams
- Oversee contractors and ensure safe, compliant delivery
- Support projects through to completion & sign-off

What We’re Looking For
- Background in Project Engineering / Project Management
- Experience within facilities, construction, engineering, or defence
- Knowledge of project delivery methods & stakeholder management
- Familiar with AutoCAD (2D/3D), MS Project & Office
- Understanding of building regs & compliance
- Strong organisational and communication skills
Qualifications
- NEBOSH Level 2 (essential)
- PRINCE2 or similar (desirable)
