Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operator to work for a highly respected, long established manufacturer in the Abertillery area (Blaina)
This is a long term role & for the right candidate will lead to a full time permanent position following a successful 12-16 week period.
Hours of work:
These roles are working a days & afternoons pattern Monday - Friday.
- Day shift - 06:00am - 14:00pm
- Afternoon shift - 14:00pm - 22:00pm
Duties:
- General production duties working to KPI's and production targets.
- Packaging of finished product adhering to health and safety standards
- Completing quality / production related paper work ensuring full audit trail is maintained and followed.
- Manually operating process on site using PC and updating production processes
- Operating a range of production machinery and equipment.
- Completing all aspects of visual inspection on raw material and product being manufactured
The desired candidates will have:
- Able to work within a fast paced production setting
- Possess good written and verbal English skills and be IT Literate
- Ability to lift & manoeuvre product up to 15KG in weight.
- Previous relevant manufacturing /production experience.
- Knowledge of health and safety in the work place.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Pay: £12.77-£13.76 per hour
