Multi Skilled Shift Engineer – Electrical Engineer Bias
Location: Coleshill, Birmingham
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Full Time, 42 hours per week
Three shift rotation:
Morning: 6:00am – 2:00pm Monday to Friday
Afternoon: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Monday to Thursday, 10:00am – 6:00pm Friday
Nights: 10:00pm – 6:00am Monday night to Friday morning
About the Role
We are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer – Electrical Engineer Bias to join a busy engineering team in Coleshill.
The Multi Skilled Shift Engineer – Electrical Engineer Bias will support maintenance activities across electrical and mechanical systems within a fast-paced operational environment.
Responsibilities- Multi Skilled Shift Engineer
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
- Electrical fault finding and repairs
- Support mechanical maintenance activities
- Complete testing, calibration, and alignment tasks
- Update maintenance records and work orders
- Follow lockout and tagout procedures
- Maintain safe working standards and housekeeping
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers where required
Requirements- Multi Skilled Shift Engineer
- Qualified to BS 7671 Eighteenth Edition
- Electrical installation or maintenance qualification
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Good understanding of mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and procedures
- Self-motivated and organised
- Strong health and safety awareness
