We are seeking a Team Leader to join our team at Redjacket Specialist Care. As a Team Leader you will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of dedicated Mental Health Support Workers. You will also play a key role in coordinating daily care routines, supporting staff development and liaising with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise and motivate a team of support staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Monitor staff performance and support professional development
- Assist with staff rotas and shift planning
- Ensure service users receive person centred emotional, psychological and physical support
- Oversee the implementation of care and support plans, reviewing and updated them regularly
- Support with personal care, medication management and everyday activities when needed
- Liaise with GPS, mental health professional and families
- Ensure compliance with medication administration policies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health legislation, best practices and company policies
What we are looking for:
- Experience working in a mental health support role or similar environment
- Understanding of mental health issues and relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- A good understanding of person-centred care and confidentiality
- High attention to detail and strong ability to multitask under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy, compassion and a non-judgmental approach to supporting others
