Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly.
- Ensure all drinks are prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and responsible service policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle transactions efficiently.
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and address any concerns professionally.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences and uphold the establishment's reputation.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a hospitality environment, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to beverage service.
- Proven ability in serving customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience in restaurant or bar service is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
