Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full time Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. You will be responsible for various tasks including food preparation, guest services, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to engage with customers and provide a memorable dining experience is essential.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
- Assist in food preparation while adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and serving stations.
- Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths calculations for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service are crucial.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Experience in culinary roles or food preparation is beneficial but not mandatory.
