Kitchen Porter (39 Hours Per Week)
We are a friendly 100-bedroom hotel in the heart of Central London, looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly.
This position would be ideal for someone who:
- Has current or previous experience working in a busy kitchen (preferred but not essential).
- Is hardworking, motivated, and willing to support the kitchen team.
- Is reliable, organised, and able to work independently when required.
- Has excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key responsibilities:
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping all kitchen and storage areas clean, tidy, and hygienic.
- Assisting with deliveries and stock organisation.
- Supporting the chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

- Proof of the right to work in the UK.
Hours:
- 39 hours per week.
- A typical shift is 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a break, then 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
- The working day includes a 30-minute lunch break and a dinner break.
- Primarily daytime shifts, with occasional evening work as required.
