Castlefield are currently recruiting an interim Category Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Liverpool. This is an initial 3 month opportunity with strong possibility of extension.
Role:
- Leading on works procurement projects
- Deliver value for money on procurement projects
- Agree and manage contracts in line with the organisation’s procedures and Public Sector regulations
- Create procurement strategies within your assigned category
- Manage supplier relationships and support stakeholders
- Identify appropriate routes to market and develop specifications alongside subject matter experts
- Work in collaboration with other relevant organisations
- Contribute to the delivery of the organisations strategic plan
- Provide sound procurement advice and guidance
Person:
- MCIPS or equivalent level of relevant experience
- Public Sector procurement experience
- Stakeholder management
- PA2023 desirable and PCR2015 essential
- JCT contract knowledge
Pay: £350.00-£450.00 per day
