Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MET/Multi skilled Bodyshop Technician to join our team. This role involves supporting the workshop controller and stripping and fitting vehicles as part of the repair process within our workshop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the workshop, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for mechanical work and hands-on problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs, adjustments, and assembly tasks
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions
- removing and installing new parts and or components
- Carry out tasks safely as required for equipment handling or parts replacement
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Document repair activities and report any irregularities or safety concerns to supervisors
- Helping other team members in all aspects of the bodyshop activities
Experience
- Proven experience within a bodyshop enviroment is essential
- Practical knowledge of using hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Prior experience panel beating and spray painting is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
