About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our warehouse and logistics team. This is a full-time position working on a weekly rotating shift pattern of 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring goods are moved safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse while supporting daily operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Moving stock and materials around the warehouse and production areas.
- Stacking and storing products in designated locations.
- Conducting daily FLT safety checks and reporting any defects.
- Assisting with stock control and inventory checks.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Supporting general warehouse duties when required.
Requirements
- Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT Licence/Certificate.
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
