Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions for a small Pub Group, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial records. Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
- Assist with preparing financial reports and statements for management review
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding billing and payments
- Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents and correspondence
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an accounts administration or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance is desirable but not essential

Pay: £24,420.00-£37,997.11 per year
