We are the leading not-for-profit care provider, and Henley House, Ipswich is a purpose built 66 bed residential home.
This role is either part time 2 x 20 or full time, 40 hours a week, paid hourly
As it is paid hourly, extra shifts will be paid extra, as will overtime and extra pay, ie double pay on Xmas Day.
Shifts are 10 hours, 0700-1700, 2 or 4 days a week, working along side the head chef, supported by the Home Manager
Please note we cannot sponsor overseas workers or employ those already on a sponsorship elsewhere.
You will have a well equipped kitchen to work with and a great opportunity to be part of the chef team under the support of our service support manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Cook/ Sous Chef, you will:
- Prepare, cook and serve meals
- Ensure all purchases are controlled within a specified budget
- Assist to draw up varied menus which incorporate choice.

- Relevant food hygiene and food preparation qualifications
