Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Van similar commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload packages using appropriate.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely drop-offs across designated areas.
- Interact courteously with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and documentation throughout your shift.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and proper functioning of the vehicle.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on route driving and time management. -Not Essential
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients.
- Ability to lift heavy packages safely during load & unload activities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification is a plus.
