Summary
We are seeking skilled Bricklayers (masculine) and Bricklayers (feminine) to join our dedicated team in Barnsley. This role is vital in helping us build new houses on-site, contributing to our mission of delivering top-tier residential construction projects. The position is based in Barnsley, where you will play a key role in creating durable and aesthetically pleasing structures. We have a matrix of rates to work with and are happy to share them with you, please ask John.
Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units with precision to meet project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness of the worksite and proper care of tools.
- Assist in the preparation of mortar and other materials.
- Support the team in meeting project deadlines without compromising quality.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in bricklaying or masonry work.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and masonry techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Good physical condition and stamina for manual labor.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites.
- Preferred: experience with roofing or carpentry is advantageous.
