We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to join our cleaning team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within our establishment. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain exceptional service quality. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness.
- Develop cleaning schedules and allocate tasks appropriately among team members.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- Train new staff members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Address guest or client concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all staff members.
- Collaborate with management to implement improvements in housekeeping operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory housekeeping or cleaning role, ideally within the hospitality or healthcare sector.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Good driving skills are preferred for transporting supplies or moving between locations.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional manner.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable with excellent time management abilities. Candidates should possess a proactive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across all areas of responsibility.
