We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school in Bristol that are looking for an SEN teacher to join the team in leading a KS2 class of SLD students. The school are well established in Bristol and are going from strength to strength under new management.
The school support students with a wide range of special needs & disabilities for ages 4-16. Often these needs will be complex.
The role
This position is a full teaching role - so you will be expected to plan your own lessons. The class has 6 students where you will be supported by 3 permanent TA's who know the students well.
Due to the needs of the students it is imperative that you have had experience teaching SEND students before, ideally within a specialist setting. They would be open to applications from mainstream teachers looking to make the move to working in special schools. QTS preferred.
