We are looking for a Full-time Commis chef/Trainee chef to join our kitchen team at Bruno’s Restaurant. The role of the Commis Chef/ Chef is to assist in the preparation and serving of fresh Italian food to our impeccable standards. This is a development role, however we expect our applicants to have experience within a busy kitchen environment and a real ambition to take their skills to the next level.
You will work closely and as part of our senior kitchen staff and will be involved directly with the following roles:
· Fresh Food Preparation i.e prepping fresh produce, Meat, Fish, and poultry
· Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
· Cooking dishes from scratch from our well-established menu. Display ability to offer new fresh ideas
· Cleaning and wiping down stations after service.
· Willingness to learn and display initiative
Work schedule:
· 5 day week
· Weekends
· Split shifts, Mornings and Evenings

Experience:
