About the role
You will be part of a great team ensuring the cleanliness of the hospice is kept to the standards required whilst following the guidance given by the training provided. This will include day-to-day cleaning of the patients’ rooms, communal areas and office spaces. There will be a variety of tasks performed individually and with the team. You will meet patients and their families.
You'll be
- responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary environment for patients, employees and visitors.
- cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, common areas, clinical spaces and office areas, as well as managing waste disposal and linen services, all while adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- helping to create a warm and homely environment that enables the organisation to meet everyone’s needs. Keeping the buildings clean and safe is a crucial task, which is why the role is so important.
- carrying out a variety of tasks which ensures that everyone can enjoy a clean, tidy and welcoming environment, directly impacting the patients, their visitors and the employees working to support them.
- part of a small team working alongside and supporting each other whilst carrying out your duties.
