Learning Support Assistant – Independent All-Through School
Dunbar Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming independent all-through school in Biggleswade to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant for an ASAP start.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and well-resourced school where you'll play a key role in helping pupils reach their full potential. Working alongside experienced teachers and the SEN team, you'll provide classroom support, one-to-one assistance and small group interventions across the school.
The Role
- Support pupils within the classroom and on a 1:1 basis.
- Deliver targeted interventions to support learning and development.
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
- Work closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team.
- Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience working with children or young people.
- Is patient, caring and adaptable.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Is passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
Previous experience in education, care, youth work or SEND is desirable but not essential.
