Business Development Manager
South West / South Wales
Field-based role with flexibility to work on the road, plus one half-day per week at a regional location for admin.
We are recruiting a Business Development Manager to drive growth of a market-leading bathroom wall panel system.
This is a senior, field-based position focused on:
- Winning new business
- Developing existing accounts
- Building strong relationships across merchants, showrooms, and buying groups
While there are future plans to grow within the specification sector, the current focus is firmly on merchant and showroom sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across your territory
- Manage and grow an existing customer base
- Increase product awareness and drive sales performance
- Build relationships with key accounts and decision-makers
- Gather market intelligence to support business growth
- Deliver against agreed sales targets
Target Customer Base
Experience selling into or working with:
- Plumbing merchants
- Bathroom showrooms
- Buying groups
About You
- Proven track record in field sales / business development
- Background in plumbing, bathrooms, or KBB sector
- Experience with wall panels or related products (desirable)
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially aware
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Able to effectively manage a territory and your own schedule
Salary & Benefits
- £42,000 basic salary
- 20% bonus (with potential for improvement)
- £500 per month car allowance or company car (Electric/Hybrid)
- 30 days holiday (including bank holidays)

- Working Monday - Friday - 8am until 5pm.
