Job Overview
Freeway Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 Night Drivers (HGV / LGV C+E) to support ongoing contracts across the Rochdale, Middleton, and Bury areas.
This is a great opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent night trunking work with a well-established recruitment agency.
Role & Responsibilities
- Carry out Class 1 night trunking duties
- Complete depot-to-depot deliveries
- Undertake trailer swaps, reloads, and tipping work
- Conduct short, medium, and long-distance runs
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on schedule
- Complete relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
- Comply with all Driver Hours, Tachograph, and WTD regulations
Shift Pattern
- Night shifts
- Start times between 17:00 – 20:00
Pay & Benefits

Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Held Class 1 licence for minimum 1 year
- At least 6–12 months Class 1 driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- No DR, DD, IN, CD endorsements
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
