Camp dates:
Training / Induction: 19th July 1pm - 4pm
week 1: 20th - 24th July
week 2: 27th - 31st July
Location: Milngavie guide hall, 38 Oakburn Ave, Milngavie, Glasgow G62 7NR - parking available, bus stop and train station nearby.
About you:
- over 18
- can commute to camp location
- available for the duration of camp
- experience working with children / at camps (preferred but not needed)
- first aid certificate a bonus!
- UK citizen / right to work in UK
- Willing to complete a PVG check
If you are 16 or 17 and interested in volunteering as a junior leader (for 1 or 2 weeks) please get in touch!
Your role as a camp leader / junior camp leader:
- supervise children in line with our policies and procedures
- set up and put away different activities
- lead games, activities and engage with campers
- follow our camp schedule, delivering fun and safe activities.
- follow safeguarding policies, view risk assessments.
