Responsibilities and Duties
Serving customers.
Accurately picking and checking orders.
Storing stock safely.
Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
Timber cutting.
Checking incoming goods against supplier’s delivery note.
Providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications and Skills
A Counterbalance Forklift licence would be advantageous however training will be given.
Builders merchant industry knowledge preferable but not essential.
Good communication skills.
A knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety Regulations.
Methodical and organised and able to work on own initiative.
Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
You will be working within a small team dealing with our customer’s needs, therefore we are looking for someone that has the following attributes;

Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5.30pm
Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm
Saturday 7.30am -13.00pm 1 in 4 weekends by rota
