As a Management Accountant: Operations, you'll play a key role in providing essential financial information and analytical insight to support our Operations Department. Reporting directly to the Finance & IT Manager, you'll act as the key financial link between Finance and the day-to-day running of our production function, leading meetings, driving actions, and helping the business deliver its strategic objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and review Weekly and Monthly Production Gains & Loss reconciliations, attending regular meetings with the Operations Team to review and resolve queries
- Own the month end process for Stock Balances, WIP, Material Price Variances, Quality and Stock Provisions, and KPIs
- Provide timely financial insight and ad hoc analysis to support operational decision-making
- Lead stock accuracy as the financial lead, coordinating the annual stock take and driving clearance of slow-moving and obsolete stock
- Maintain and update standard costs in the ERP system, aligned to budget and agreed specifications
- Prepare the annual production budget, capacity budget, and interim operational forecasts
- Support project costings, customer audits, and wider Finance team duties as required
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in management accounting within a manufacturing environment, including cost accounting, variance analysis, budgeting and stock valuation
- AAT qualified or equivalent; part-qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA desirable
- Strong analytical skills with expert-level MS Excel and database (ODBC) knowledge
- Confident communicator who can build cross-functional relationships and lead meetings effectively
- Proactive and organised, with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement
