We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in West Bridgford. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for clients and staff alike. Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is advantageous, and a friendly, professional attitude is essential. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a hygienic environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including carpet cleaning or window washing
- Support the team during busy periods by prioritising tasks effectively
Requirements
- Previous experience in janitorial, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or additional duties as needed
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking or customer service experience, which can enhance overall service delivery
