We are recruiting for a Machine Operator at our Peterborough site. This is a permanent, weekly-paid position providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.
- Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off – (05:45 – 18:15)
- Hourly Rate: £13.70 (paid weekly)
As an AMFRESH Machine Operative, you will:
- Operate our machines in production and ensure machinery is kept clean and safe during and at the end of your shift.
- Help train new starters.
- Complete changeovers such as label verifications on your line.
- Understand the machine and speed targets to meet or exceed customer orders in a timely manner and communicate this with your line.
To be a successful Machine Operative, the qualities we are looking for are:
- Experience with machinery in a production environment (preferred but not essential).
- Able to work in a target driven environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Numerical skills and attention to detail.
