We are expanding our team and looking for reliable, hands‑on HGV Class 2 Driver/Installers to join our busy Swindon depot. This role is perfect for candidates who want more than standard driving—combining skilled installations, technical work, and specialist logistics across the UK.
You’ll be part of a respected white‑glove final‑mile delivery and installation service, working with high‑value equipment for major industries including medical, printing, banking, security, sports and more.
What the Role Involves
- Delivering and installing specialist equipment such as ATMs, parcel lockers, medical equipment, data racks, gym equipment and other built‑on‑site systems
- Working as part of 2‑man teams or occasionally larger multi‑crew teams (up to 8 people) for heavy or complex installations, including equipment up to 28 tonnes
- Handling and manoeuvring equipment safely using both mechanical and non‑mechanical lifting tools
- Completing white‑glove installations to a high standard at customer sites
- Working indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions (PPE provided)
- Representing the company professionally and delivering excellent customer service
- Learning from different crews during your first months before joining a permanent team
What We Expect from You
- Flexibility with start times (typically from 5am) and willingness to work overtime where required
- Ability to stay away overnight when necessary
- Strong practical skills — able to think on your feet and follow installation instructions
- Physically fit with good manual‑handling ability, including lifting and carrying equipment up and down stairs
- Positive attitude, reliability and a strong team ethic
Essential Requirements
- HGV Class 2 licence (required)
- Full UK driving licence( required)
- Driver CPC ( required)
- Digital tachograph card (required)
- Confidence with manual handling
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Desirable (but training can be provided)
- Installation or technical background ( required)
- Experience with complex sites or complex deliveries
- CSCS card ( highly desired)
You will receive full, structured training from our in‑house training team and external training partners, including safe lifting, mechanical handling, and specialist installation techniques.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts (after which an overtime is paid)
- Standard start around 5-6 am (occasional pre 5am starts)
- Usual finish between 4-6pm
- Some early starts, late finishes, evenings or weekends may be required depending on customer needs
