Location: St Helens
Salary: £54,725.67 - £61,390.82 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week
We are seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead The Meadows—a specialist residential service supporting children and young people to thrive, grow, and reach their full potential.

About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will have overall leadership and operational responsibility for the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
You will:
Create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where young people can flourish- Provide inspirational leadership to a dedicated team
- Drive high-quality care delivery, supporting positive outcomes for children and young people
- Ensure the home consistently meets and exceeds Ofsted standards
- Manage staffing, budgets, and occupancy to ensure a sustainable and effective service
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
- Significant experience in children’s residential care or a similar provision
- Demonstratable leadership and management experience within a residential or similar setting
- Strong understanding of:
o Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) & Quality Standards
o Trauma-informed care and child development
o Social, emotional, and mental health needs
o Safeguarding and inspection frameworks
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Strong organisational, reporting, and IT skills
