Construction Site Security Officer
High Profile Construction Site
Full-Time / Shift-Based
Up to 36 hours per week, including:
Shifts will involve both indoor and outdoor duties in all weather conditions.
We are seeking a professional and reliable Construction Site Security Officer to provide security services at a high-profile construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, contractors, visitors, and site assets.
The role requires excellent communication skills, a strong security presence, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.
- Control access and egress to the construction site
- Conduct regular site patrols internally and externally
- Monitor CCTV and security systems where applicable
- Prevent unauthorised access, theft, vandalism, and anti-social behaviour
- Check identification and verify visitor/contractor credentials
- Maintain accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
- Liaise professionally with site management, contractors, emergency services, and members of the public
- Ensure compliance with site health & safety procedures
- Provide a visible and professional security presence at all times
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Valid CSCS Card
- Previous security experience, preferably within construction or high-profile sites
- Ability to work days, nights, and weekends
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Right to work in the UK
- CCTV Licence (preferred but not essential)
- First Aid qualification
- Experience working on construction or corporate security sites
- Professional appearance and manner
- Calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and vigilant approach to security duties
