We’re opening a brand‑new country gastro pub and are looking for a hardworking, reliable Evening Kitchen Assistant to support our chefs during the busy dinner service. If you enjoy a fast‑paced kitchen, take pride in cleanliness, and like being part of a friendly team, this role could be perfect for you.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting evening food prep — helping prepare ingredients and assisting chefs ahead of service.
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised — washing up, clearing surfaces, and maintaining excellent hygiene.
- Assisting during service — helping plate simple dishes and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly.
- Working as part of a supportive team — contributing to a positive, efficient kitchen environment.
What we’re looking for
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential — a great attitude matters most.
- Someone reliable, punctual, and happy to get stuck in.
- A calm, organised approach, even during busy periods.
- Pride in cleanliness and high standards.
