We are seeking a dedicated Casual Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, corridors, and public areas according to organisational standards
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are sanitised and presentable
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including sorting, washing, and folding linens
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials in designated areas
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues
Skills
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable
- Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles demonstrates familiarity with cleaning protocols and equipment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to schedules
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and team members
