Factory Operative – Picking, Packing & Resizing Blinds (Full Time)
We are hiring Factory Operatives to join our window blinds manufacturing team in ML11 8JT. This is a physical, hands-on role involving warehouse picking, secure packing, and resizing made-to-measure blinds using basic tools.
Main Duties:
- Pick items using a handheld scanner
- Pack orders securely for dispatch
- Resize blinds using:
- Chop saw
- Knife
- Measuring tape
Requirements:
- Able to measure accurately and perform basic calculations
- Comfortable with manual handling (lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods)
- Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
- Own transport is essential (location: ML11 8JT)
- Warehouse or factory experience is a bonus, not essential
Position: Full-Time
Shift Pattern:
- 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
- Rolling rota, including some weekend work
- Shift time: 6:00am – 4:15pm
Pay Rates:
- £13.25/hour (aged 21 and over)
- £10.85/hour (aged 20 and under)
Performance Bonus:
- Additional monthly pay bonus available based on attendance and team output
