Job description
Reporting to the Quay Manager and Supervisor. You will assist in the efficiency of vehicular movements and deliveries safely on a busy working quay.
Responsibilities
- To follow health and safety regulations at all times in order to maintain a safe working environment.
- To provide assistance for freight deliveries and customers as required.
- To help improve quay efficiency.
- To direct and manage vehicle movements both on and off the quay.
- To keep traffic areas free of pedestrians.
- To complete ongoing job related training as required.
- To carry out other duties and assist colleagues as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold basic computer skills.
- Have experience of working in a busy environment.
- Be confident in using radio communications.
- Be able to work in a busy team.
- Have excellent communication skills.
