Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and skilled Category B, C & CE Drivers to join our team, driving vehicles from 3,500kg to 44,000kg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering, exchanging and collecting skips, or operating a tipper grab, safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all driving regulations. Experience with skip or grab lorries is preferred, as well as a proven track record in commercial driving, but not essential as training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate skip or grab lorries in line with company oporating procedures.
- Use driver tablet to comlete job work sheets.
- Conduct pre-start inspections of the vehicle via driver tablet.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with transport coordinators and clients.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring client satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven ability to use tablet device.
- Confident skills in menouvering in tight access.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
- Strong work ethic.
