- Job Summary Bewicks Restaurant are seeking a friendly and dedicated Hospitality Team Member to join our dynamic, award winning team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment, supporting catering and food service operations, and ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or culinary settings would be preferred however, full training given to successful candidates who do not have previous experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to memorable guest experiences.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and serving in accordance with health and safety standards
- Support catering events by setting up tables, serving food and beverages, and clearing after service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including dining rooms and kitchens
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Handle guest enquiries professionally, providing information about menus or services as required
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest experiences
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is highly desirable however, full training will be given to those with no experience and have a passion to learn and succeed in this job role; apprenticeship also available.
- Good customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
- A positive attitude and team-oriented approach are essential
