An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Trials Assistant to work in our Research Department. We have unique opportunities for a motivated person to come and join our research team on a permanent contract to support the Haematology Research Teams at our Poole Hospital site. This is a cross-site role (training and cross cover as required).

Working in the research team you will join an enthusiastic, driven and caring team, to help provide research across the trust for new and existing studies.
Our team participates in research within many different specialities and areas across the Trust. Enthusiasm, self-motivation, flexibility and drive will be required to ensure the success of this post. You will be involved in all aspects of the research process from study start-up, recruitment, delivery, data entry, to close out of a study. You will need to have an excellent level of written and verbal communication skill and good IT skills.
This is a progression role starting at band 3 with the view of progression to band 4 following a completion of competency.
Interview: August 3rd
You will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, implementing studies to translate scientific discoveries into improved patient outcomes.
Previous research experience is not necessary as all training and development will be provided, although clinical skills of performing venepuncture and laboratory skills would be advantageous .
Along with the relevant and appropriate experience, you will need to demonstrate:
An interest in clinical research
Initiative
Excellent communication skills to provide guidance and support to patients and colleagues
Good time management skills with the ability to meet a deadline.
