BGID are looking for a driver/factory operative to join our team. Having been in the door business 50+ years, BGID have earnt a prestigious reputation in domestic and industrial doors, working alongside major construction firms and high street names to deliver high quality products and service across the UK.
This role will involve driving vans and a 3.5 ton pickup to and from suppliers, customers and our engineers on site. As we operate nationwide some long distance travelling will be required. When not on the road, the applicant will be in the factory helping with production and the movement of materials. Because of the nature of our work, overtime may be available, with early starts and late finishes, so flexibility is required. The applicant must be numerate and physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved.
A full clean driving licence is essential.
Qualifications such as CSCS Card, Asbestos Awareness and a Forklift License would be highly desirable not essential.
Hourly Rate: Dependant on experience. More for qualified or industry familiar applicants.
