Through our adult education provision, we aim to empowering adults through education. We strive to provide high-quality, accessible, and flexible learning opportunities that support personal and professional growth.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Adult Education Tutors to join our team and help our learners achieve their goals.
We are interested in applications from individuals who can contribute to a wide range of classes both during the day and evening. we are always willing to offer new classes put forward by teachers to see if there is interest.
Many of our courses re-enrol for subsequent terms and therefore, there may be an opportunity for three terms of work.
We are interested to hear from anyone who would like to deliver classes – daytime or evening - in our expanding programme.
We also have specific interest in tutors who could offer classes in the following areas:
- creative writing - for freelance writers or substack users
- digital skills
- Learn canva
- Photography
- Social media skills and content creation
- Art and craft including collage
- Cookery/baking
Most recreational evening classes run for 2 hours a week over 8 weeks on a Monday evening between 6.00pm and 9.00pm and Tuesdays between 5.00pm and 7.00pm.
The College reserves the right to interview and appoint early if a suitable candidate applies.
The successful candidates will be required to possess an enhanced DBS certificate to be employed at the College.
