DegreeSix are a leading Specialist SEN & SEMH agency who are looking for a qualified Teachers from September!
We are supporting 3 SEMH Specialist Schools across Leicester that are looking for teachers across a range of subjects (Maths, English, Science, PSHE).
The school have a range of facilities and opportunities, even offers a permanent position for the right candidate, starting from ideally September (flexible for the right person).
You will be expected to work Monday to Friday teaching a small class of 10 children diagnosed with Social, Emotional & Mental Health Challenges, you will be supported by multiple TA's which are very familiar with the students.
The Role:
- Ability to teach pupils with SEMH needs effectively through the use of dynamic & engaging techniques.
- Lead a provision and manage staff in an effective way towards outstanding practice.
- Reflect and see solutions in daily teaching, in own practice and that of the team.
- Use initiative to solve problems.
- Share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
- Build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.
