EarlyBird Lifestyle Support is a small, bespoke service supporting people across Lincoln and the surrounding villages. We work with individuals who have a wide range of physical and mental health needs, and we’re looking for people who are enthusiastic, willing to learn, and genuinely enjoy helping others.
This role gives you the chance to build new skills, develop existing ones, and play an active part in improving the daily lives of the people we support. We’re a unique service, and we’d be happy to talk you through what makes us different.

Supporting Individuals With Mental Health Needs
A key part of this role is supporting customers who live with specific mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, personality disorders, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other long-term mental health needs.
You must be:
- Comfortable working with people who may experience distress, low mood, or changes in behaviour
- Able to remain calm, patient, and professional in emotionally challenging situations
- Willing to follow care plans, risk assessments, and training to ensure safe and consistent support
- Someone who can build trust, offer reassurance, and provide non-judgmental, person-centred care
Full guidance and training will be provided, but the right attitude, empathy, and emotional resilience are essential.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence or CBT (essential)
- Available to work alternative weekends (essential)
- Access to a vehicle with business insurance
- A caring, compassionate, and reliable approach
- Honest, hardworking, and trustworthy
- Confident and willing to support individuals with specific mental health needs
- We cannot offer sponsorship, so we can only consider applicants who do not require this now or in future
Due to the location of our customers, we can only consider drivers at this stage.
Pay & Mileage
- £13.50 per hour
- £0.45 per mile for customer outings
- Experience preferred but not essential — full training provided
Hours
Full-time and part-time roles available. We offer flexible working patterns to help fit around home life, education, or other commitments. Early and late shifts are available.
