LVLS is a busy bar and events venue in Hackney Wick, East London, and we’re expanding our team. We’re currently looking for weekend only bar tenders, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re a young and ambitious venue with a strong focus on great service, music, and events. As we continue to grow, there are excellent opportunities to move into senior roles and management
Duties
- Serve drinks efficiently and accurately to customers in accordance with licensing laws and company policies
- Take orders and provide recommendations on beverages and menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restock supplies and ensure the bar is well-stocked throughout shifts
- Uphold food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly manner
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the wider venue including close down cleaning
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is required but not essential
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to take initiative on task completion in downtimes
- Excellent time management to ensure prompt service during busy hours
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable personality with a positive attitude
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.80 per hour
