Temporary Administrator
35 hours per week (for 8 weeks)
We are looking for a proactive and organised Administrator to support a busy team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience across events, communications, and operational administration within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Events Support
- Assist with the administration and coordination of public engagement events.
- Manage bookings, registrations, attendee communications, and event materials.
- Provide logistical support and assist with event delivery when required.
Communications Support
- Help prepare and schedule event communications, including emails, newsletters, and website updates.
- Maintain contact databases and mailing lists.
- Support the creation of content for internal and external audiences.
Operational Administration
- Maintain accurate records and databases.
- Provide general administrative support across the team.
- Assist with meeting and panel administration, including scheduling, documentation, and minute-taking where required.
You will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and other office systems.
- The ability to manage your workload effectively and work as part of a team.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and handling information professionally.
Hybrid working may be available although you will need to be flexible to work onsite at our client's office in Cardiff (CF24).
