Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Roof Tilers to join our construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing roof coverings on new build properties. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. Duties
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and specifications related to roofing projects
- Prepare surfaces and structures for tiling, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately
- Install roofing materials such as tiles, slates and lead.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite, ensuring safety standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes
- Both set wage or price work available
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing installation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to roofing activities
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness suitable for demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- CSCS card in roofing
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards.
Pay: From £18.75 per hour
