Excell Supply is recruiting confident and enthusiastic Classroom Supervisors to work on a flexible supply basis in secondary schools across Rhyl and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, teaching assistants, youth workers, sports coaches, or anyone with experience supporting young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
As a Classroom Supervisor, you will oversee lessons in the absence of the class teacher, delivering pre-prepared work, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring students remain focused throughout the lesson. No lesson planning or marking is required.
The Role
- Supervise classes using work set by the class teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Encourage students to stay engaged and complete their work.
- Support pupils with their learning where appropriate.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff following each lesson.
- Work flexibly across a range of secondary schools.

- Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence managing groups of students.
- A positive, professional and adaptable approach.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
