Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking for an opportunity to be part of something exciting from the ground up, whilst benefiting from the backing and security of an established national organisation?
We're partnering with a growing insurance broker that is investing heavily in the Manchester market and looking to strengthen its team with the appointment of a Commercial Account Handler.

The Opportunity
You'll be joining a collaborative and ambitious team responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across a range of sectors.
Working alongside experienced Account Executives and Directors, you'll support the delivery of exceptional client service whilst helping to build a strong local presence in Manchester.
The office is currently in a significant growth phase, offering the rare opportunity to join at an early stage and contribute to the future success of the team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial insurance policies from renewal through to placement
- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, quotations, and policy administration
- Liaise with insurers to negotiate competitive terms for clients
- Prepare market presentations and supporting documentation
- Provide proactive support to Account Executives and Directors
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all client records and documentation are maintained accurately
- Deliver high levels of service throughout the client lifecycle
About You
- Previous experience as a Commercial Account Handler, Account Broker, or similar commercial broking position
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and markets
- Experience handling a varied commercial client portfolio
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working within a growing and evolving environment
- Acturis experience would be advantageous
- Cert CII qualified or working towards qualifications would be welcomed
