Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to work alongside our Kitchen Team to help continue the success of Bacchus going forward This pivotal role involves overseeing food preparation, maintaining high standards, and inspiring culinary excellence to delight our customers
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee food production and preparation, maintaining high quality standards.
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Develop innovative menus that highlight local ingredients.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to foster a collaborative environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supplies efficiently.
- Uphold the restaurant’s commitment to exceptional hospitality and service.
- Collaborate with management to achieve business goals.
- Qualifications
- Proven supervising and team management experience in a restaurant setting.
- Extensive culinary and kitchen experience, including food preparation and cooking.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in the absense of the Head Chef
- Passion for local produce and innovative cuisine.
- Previous restaurant experience in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
