Job Summary
We are a small, growing clothing business looking for an experienced seamstress to join our friendly, home-based workshop in Halifax.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in a relaxed, comfortable environment, producing high-quality garments using sewing machines, along with other detailed finishing tasks such as applying embellishments. We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, a positive attitude, and pride in their workmanship.
The role is approximately 15-25 hours per week, with flexibility around working hours by agreement. This is an ongoing opportunity for the right person.
Duties
- Sewing and assembling garments to a high standard
- Following patterns and production specifications
- Checking finished items for quality and accuracy
Requirements
- Previous sewing or garment construction experience
- Confident using a sewing machine
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Positive, friendly attitude
