Sentiments are a well-established Funeral Directors, serving the community of Grimsby and surrounding area. We have a hard-working team who are perfectly suited to deliver a truly personal, bespoke service for our families and clients.
As Funeral Service Operative, you will work as part of this dedicated team, maintaining an excellent standard of care to all the deceased as well as the bereaved. Your main duties will be to tend to, care for and prepare the deceased in order to preserve their dignity.
Other duties will include :
- Preparation of the coffin.
- Maintenance and cleaning of the fleet and other vehicles.
- Assisting on services, acting as pall bearer and driving the funeral fleet.
- Attendance on removals of the deceased.
- Participation in an on-call out of hours rota.

A driver's licence is a must and, while preferred, experience is not essential as on the job training will be provided. As you will be on call, the ideal candidate would live in the Grimsby and surrounding areas.
A successful candidate can expect earnings starting from £27,500.00 per annum
