Housekeeper/Cleaner
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at The Red Lion, Winfreth Dorset. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our pub and guest accommodations, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. We have both rooms and a campsite.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare our on site guest rooms to a high standard.
Clean and prepare our Camping site toilets and communal areas.
Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including the bar, dining spaces, and restrooms.
Change bed linens, towels, and restock toiletries.
Ensure laundry is tidied away, stored and organised. We have an external laundry business who collects linen and bedding and towels.
Machine washing for teatowels and other small items.
Monitor cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
Follow health and safety regulations to maintain hygiene standards.
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Reliability and punctuality.
Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
We are looking for candidates who can specifically work Mondays, Fridays, Saturday and Sundays for housekeeping duties. Our usual shifts are 9-12pm and we are flexible if you wish to start at 08:30am and finish at 11:30am.
Starting salary £13.00 (over 21 rate)
Interview to take place on an ongoing basis from week commencing 6th July 2026.
