Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waitstaff to join our vibrant hospitality team for a part time position
Currently available Hours
Saturday & Sunday : 12:00/17:00
10 hours per week, but we prefer someone flexible able to cover evenings shifts when required.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced environment, possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, have a keen eye for details and flexible with working hours. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout the shift
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash transactions responsibly
- Cleaning duties, including keeping the working floor clean and organised
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on guest services and hospitality excellence
- Basic maths skills for processing payments and bills accurately
- Familiarity with food preparation or kitchen experience is a plus but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- A friendly attitude with strong communication skills and a professional demeanour
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
